Point Reyes- Bear Valley to Arch Rock:

8.4 miles (Out and Back)-

• Enter Bear Valley Trail, This is just North of the Visitors Center and we will start together. (bathrooms at start)
• 1.4 mi - Bathrooms on right
• 3.2 mi - STAY RIGHT when trail splits
• 3.95 mi - GO LEFT when trail splits again towards the Arch Rock (sign)
• 4.2 mi - Pacific Ocean - STOP - LOOK - BREATHE- When ready, turn around and go back to start
• 8.4 mi - FINISH at parking lot of Visitor Center

Directions to Pt. Reyes Visitor Center

• 101 South bound towards Petaluma
• Take the Washington Street exit
• Go west on washington Street until Petaluma Blvd.
• Turn left onto Petaluma Blvd, proceed to D. Street and turn right (D street will become the Point Reyes-Petaluma Road)
• Follow until you reach a stop sign.
• At the stop sign turn right into the town of Point Reyes Station. ((you will go over a small bridge)
• Turn left onto Highway 1
• Go through the town and continue approx. 3 miles
• Turn right onto Bear Valley Road
• In less than 1/2 mile there will be a big red barn and a sign for Seashore Information
• Turn left past the red barn and proceed to the Bear Valley Visitor Center, the main park contact station. Park in the dirt lot on the left. (Bathrooms are located in the parking lot)
